He was also named as one of the “Top Funniest Magicians” performing today by Magic Magazine, and received “Specialty Act of the Year!” from the Tahoe Daily Tribune. His childhood could be considered normal, if normal was traveling around the world on various circus shows with his parents. His mother was a dancer/aerialist, his father was a professional clown, touring with shows like Ringling Bros.Circus, and Disney On Parade. At age 16, Chipper discovered he enjoyed poking fun at all the variety arts that surrounded him, and he soon developed his own style of mixing comedy into his magic routines. Audiences seemed to love it, but some relatives were not amused and he was promptly removed from their wills. He has performed all over the world, including the United States, Mexico, England, Canada, Nassau, Aruba, Malaysia, Dubai, Australia, and New Zealand. His one-man show, “The Chipper Lowell Experience!” ran for a record-breaking 600 performances in Lake Tahoe.
